Food Share (Food Stamps, SNAP)

Each month, people across Wisconsin receive assistance from FoodShare to help them purchase food for themselves and their families. This program supports individuals of all ages, including those who are employed but have low incomes, those living on small or fixed incomes, those who have lost their jobs, and those who are retired or disabled and unable to work.

Eligible FoodShare members receive their food benefits on a Quest card, which can be used to shop at approved retailers. There are four ways to apply for Foodshare:

  1. Call the Northern IM Consortium at 888-794-5722. The hours are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Wednesday, 11am-4pm on Thursdays, and 8am-2pm on Fridays.

  2. Apply online through Access

  3. Complete a paper application

  4. In-person by visiting Iron County Human Services or scheduling a face-to-face appointment by calling 715-561-3636

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA

Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at:

addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a

written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant

 

 

Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The

completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to:
